Willful, concentrated breathing can help settle and calm the mind, leading to deepening relaxation and the capacity to access the 'flow state' where you become not just aware of what's happening, but how you are holding your experience.  This meditation begins with about five minutes of willful, focused breath, then opens to awareness of unrestricted breathing and an inquiry into 'presence' and non-effort.
